Restaurant  Review

I had  a meal in  the  Carvery restaurant in Dunnes Stores.  I had salad with  lettuce, tomatoes, onions and bacon.  I had a cup of coffee and a rice cake.  It was delicious.  It was a self service  restaurant and the seats were comfortable.   I would recommend  this restaurant.

Tennis

I found  out  the history.  I wrote about  the history  of  tennis.  It started  out in France  in 12^th century.

I  did  the scoring in tennis.

It is different to other sports.

1 point is 15,    2  points  is 30,  3 points is 40.  Love is 0 points

Tennis  started in  France  That is why the word  love  is  used  for 0 point in tennis.

It is from the French l’ouef , that means egg. The 0  looks  like  an egg. In tennis when the  score is  40 – 40.  you  say  deuce that is another  French word 

I would  like  to learn more. I  have to practice my  tennis. It is fun.

Review

I had dinner in the Radisson Blue Hotel Cork.  For starters I had chicken wrapped with pastry.  For main course I had salmon served with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

The meal was lovely the hotel was very modern.

I like my food plain so I asked for my meal to be served plain and that’s the way I got it. I would recommend this hotel, it is very nice and the staff were helpful.

Emly Tidy Towns

I pick up papers and water the flowers to keep Emly tidy.  I met Mary Mc Aleese when Emly won the all Ireland award in 2009.

She shook my hand and talked about Emly and tidy towns.
