Spring Time
The day was beautiful and the birds were singing, it was time to get up and go out walking. Spring was here and the brightness of the day got everyone out in our street washing the walls for painting and curtains coming down to get the spring look again. While I was on my walk the flow of the water under the bridge and the wonderful smile of all the beautiful flowers that surrounding me.
It was the evening and it was time to put spring into action. My friend and I and the children went on a picnic to bring joy and happiness into the wonderful day of spring. The beauty of the flowers and the smell of cut grass always bring us back to our own young days when we were kids ourselves. The children love playing football, hurling and just having fun and been out doors.
Soon summer will be here and the summer will be on top of us. We and other families always hope that the summer will bring colour, laughter and lots of wonderful weather in the months that are ahead of us while school is out.
